Synopsis
Implementasi program kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3) merupakan bentuk nyata kepedulian perusahaan/industri dalam melindungi jiwa dan raga manusia, aset dan kegiatan operasional, serta lingkungan sekitar. Perlindungan tersebut akan terwujud dengan menerapkan pola dan metode sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (SMK3) yang sistematis dan melibatkan berbagai sumber daya untuk mendukung kesatuan organisasi, salah satunya melalui konsep pohon program kerja K3.
Pembahasan pada buku ini berfokus pada konsep perencanaan dan penerapan program kerja K3 dengan menggunakan pohon yang tumbuh sebagai analogi bagian-bagian program kerja K3. Terdiri atas 6 bab, setiap bab membahas bagian tertentu dalam konsep pohon program K3 dari mulai bagian air, mineral, nutrisi, dan unsur penting lainnya; akar; batang; daun; serta bagian buah. Tiap bab dilengkapi dengan penjelasan konsep dan keterkaitannya dengan bagian tertentu dalam pelaksanaan program K3 di perusahaan. Buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber literasi sekaligus panduan konseptual di bidang K3 bagi perusahaan, industri, profesional, praktisi, akademisi, mahasiswa, dan masyarakat.

Kemas Ferri Rahman, PT PLN (Persero)
Kemas Ferri Rahman lahir di Muaradua (Sumatra Selatan) pada 14 Mei 1990. Menamatkan pendidikan sekolah di SD Negeri 6 Muaradua (1996–2002), SMP Negeri 1 Muaradua (2002–2005), dan SMA Negeri 1 Muaradua (2005-2008), kemudian melanjutkan kuliah S-1 Program Studi Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan IPB (2008–2012) dan S-2 Program Studi Teknik Lingkungan ITB (2014–2015, tesis berfokus pada evaluasi SMK3 proyek kontruksi).
Saat ini, penulis menjabat sebagai Manajer PLN Unit Layanan Pelanggan (ULP) Bantul, Yogyakarta, sejak Agustus 2022. Sebelumnya, penulis ditempatkan di Bidang Monitoring and Evaluation Transformation Management sebagai Agent Breakthrough Zero Accident, Divisi Corporate Transformation and CEO Office (TCO) PLN Pusat dan menjadi bagian dari tim yang mengawal Program Transformasi PLN. Selain itu, kurang lebih 3 tahun, penulis ditempatkan di Bidang K3 Divisi K3L PLN Pusat. Sebelum bekerja di PLN, penulis pernah bekerja di PT Tata Tirta Utama, PT Adhimix Precast Indonesia, dan PT Alam Sutra Realty Tbk.
Berkaitan dengan pengalaman di dunia K3, selain penugasan di Subbidang K3 sebagai assistant engineer K3 Divisi K3L PLN, penulis juga terlibat dalam Kelompok Kerja Penyusunan SPLN (K3 Distribusi, Sistem Proteksi Kebakaran Pembangkit, dan Rambu-Rambu K3 Umum). Selain itu, penulis juga sebagai pemateri dan dosen tamu pada beberapa kegiatan edukasi K3 (internal dan eksternal PLN); juri pada sejumlah lomba K3 di PLN; inisiator pembentukan Komunitas K3 Online “Komunitas K3 Muda Indonesia”; dosen pembimbing skripsi kedua pada mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan ITERA; dosen (selama 1 semester) pada Program Praktisi Mengajar Kemendikbudristek terkait Bidang K3 dan Distribusi PLN di Universitas Malikussaleh Aceh.
Penulis muda yang bercita-cita ingin menjadi safety expert andal di masa mendatang ini pernah mendapatkan pelatihan K3 (internal dan eksternal PLN) serta pernah menjadi pembicara pada sejumlah konferensi K3 internasional, yaitu ARSEPE (ASEAN, Surabaya, 2017), ICOHS (London, 2018), GSOHS (Dubai, 2019), dan pada benchmarking K3 PLN di Tenaga Nasional Berhad (Malaysia, 2019).
