Synopsis

Anemia merupakan masalah kesehatan yang dapat terjadi pada semua kalangan yang tidak terbatas pada usia, jenis kelamin, ataupun kondisi sosial ekonomi tertentu. Anemia disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor dan akan mengakibatkan gangguan proses metabolisme karena suplai oksigen yang menurun. Anemia pada anak dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya pertumbuhan, baik fisik maupun kognitif, dan pada wanita hamil akan berisiko melahirkan bayi prematur dan stunting. Anemia juga dapat memperparah sakit seseorang apabila menjadi gejala penyerta pada penyakit-penyakit kronis. Penanganan anemia tidak dapat disamaratakan, tetapi harus disesuaikan dengan penyebab serta tingkat keparahan dari penderita.

Buku Mengenal Anemia: Patofisologi, Klasifikasi dan Diagnosis ini hadir untuk membuka, menginformasikan, dan memberikan wawasan masyarakat mengenai anemia, faktor risiko penyebab anemia, klasifikasi anemia berdasarkan penyebab, deteksi dini anemia melalui berbagai pelayanan pemeriksaan anemia, serta pengobatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan penderita anemia. Selain itu, buku ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber referensi bagi peneliti atau akademisi untuk pembelajaran.

Diani Mentari, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman

Diani saat ini menjadi dosen di Fakultas Biologi, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Pendidikan terakhir pada Program Studi Pascasarjana Biologi Fakultas Biologi Universitas Gadjah Mada. Editor memiliki ketertarikan penelitian dalam bidang cell culture, virologi, onkologi, hematologi, serta biomedis.

Gilang Nugraha, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya

Editor merupakan salah satu dosen di program studi D-IV Analis Kesehatan, Universitas Nahdlatul­ Ulama Surabaya. Pendidikan terakhir ditempuh pada program studi Magister Ilmu Kedokteran Dasar, Universitas Airlangga, dengan kepakaran pada bidang Kedokteran Laboratorium. Editor melakukan penelitian yang berfokus pada anemia ibu hamil, hematologi, dan validitas pemeriksaan laboratorium.

Saat ini, penulis adalah peneliti di Organisasi Riset Kesehatan, Badan Riset dan Inovasi ­Nasional (BRIN). Pendidikan terakhir penulis adalah Magister di Ghent University, Belgia, dengan memilih jurusan Nutrition and Rural Development (2016) karena ketertarikannya pada peran makanan bagi kesehatan. Kepakaran dan fokus kajian saat ini adalah gizi, farmasi, dan penyakit tidak menular.

Eka Deviany Widyawaty, Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta

Penulis adalah dosen tetap di Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Akupunktur dan Peng­obatan Herbal Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta. Pendidikan terakhir penulis adalah S-2 pada Program Studi Ilmu Kesehatan Reproduksi di Universitas Airlangga Surabaya pada tahun 2016. Beberapa mata kuliah yang diampu, yakni keterampilan dasar praktik klinik, asuhan kebidanan kehamilan, gizi terapan, dan komunikasi dalam akupunktur. Penulis juga aktif dalam berorganisasi profesi bidan (Ikatan Bidan Indonesia).

Indana Tri Rahmawati, Universitas Negeri Malang

Saat ini, penulis merupakan dosen Departemen Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri ­Malang. Menempuh Pendidikan S-2 Administrasi Kebijakan Kesehatan di Universitas Airlangga pada tahun 2018–2021. Fokus kajian saat ini adalah perencanaan dan evaluasi program serta beban penyakit.

Lucia Sincu Gunawan, Universitas Setia Budi

Penulis adalah seorang dokter sekaligus dosen tetap pada Program Studi Analis Kesehatan di Akademi Analis Kesehatan ­Nasional Surakarta (UNS) tahun 2004–2012 dan Program Studi D-4 Analis Kesehatan, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan, Universitas Setia Budi, sejak tahun 2015 hingga sekarang. Penulis meraih gelar Sarjana Kedokteran pada tahun 1997 dan lulus program Profesi Kedokteran di UNS tahun 1999 serta program Magister Kedokteran Keluarga di UNS tahun 2012.

Martina Kurnia Rohmah, Universitas Anwar Medika

Saat ini, penulis adalah dosen tetap di Program Studi Sarjana Farmasi, Universitas Anwar Medika. Penulis telah menempuh pendidikan Magister Ilmu Biomedik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya serta pernah mendapatkan beasiswa riset dari JASSO Scholarship di Graduated School of Science and Technology (GSST) Kumamoto University,­ Jepang. Bidang keahlian yang dimiliki penulis adalah biologi sel dan molekular, biokimia, bioteknologi, imunologi, serta biomedis.

M. Ardi Afriansyah, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang

Penulis lulus S-2 di Program Magister Biomedik Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana pada tahun 2019. Saat ini, ia adalah dosen tetap Program Studi Teknologi Laboratorium Medik Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan dan Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Penulis mengampu mata kuliah hematologi dan mikrobiologi.

Yunita Dyah Kusumaningrum, Universitas Anwar Medika

Penulis menyelesaikan program Magister tahun 2022 di Fakultas Farmasi, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. Bidang keahliannya adalah farmasi klinis. Sejak tahun 2022 hingga sekarang, ia bekerja sebagai dosen di Program Studi S-1 Farmasi, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan, Universitas Anwar Medika.

Nurnaningsih Herya Ulfah, Universitas Negeri Malang

Penulis merupakan dosen di Departemen Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Malang. Beliau menamatkan program doktor di Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Fokus kajian saat ini adalah manajemen program kesehatan.

Paramytha Magdalena Sukarno Putri, Universitas Negeri Malang

Penulis meraih gelar S-2 Promosi Kesehatan (Kesehatan Reproduksi & HIV/AIDS) dari Universitas Diponegoro. Saat ini penulis bekerja sebagai dosen di Departemen Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat, peminatan Kesehatan Reproduksi,­ Universitas Negeri Malang. Fokus kajian saat ini adalah kesehatan reproduksi seksual anak dan remaja, pengembangan media, promosi kesehatan, dan family planning.

Titik Kuntari, Universitas Islam Indonesia

Saat ini penulis aktif sebagai dosen di Fakultas­ Kedokteran Universitas Islam Indonesia. Penulis menyelesaikan program Doktor di Fakultas Kedokteran, Kesehatan Masyarakat dan Keperawatan Universitas Gadjah Mada pada tahun 2021. Ia aktif melaksanakan ke­giatan penelitian ilmiah di bidang kesehatan masyarakat dan pengabdian masyarakat.

Saat ini penulis bekerja sebagai Peneliti Ahli Madya di Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN). Bidang kepakarannya adalah di aspek gizi, KIA-Kespro, dan pangan. Penulis menyelesaikan program S-3 Doktor Ilmu Pangan di FTP UGM Yogyakarta. Beliau aktif di organisasi, misalnya DPC Persatuan Ahli Gizi (Persagi) sebagai pembina di Kabupaten Magelang Periode 2020–2025.

Sidiq Purwoko, Pusat Riset Kesehatan Masyarakat & Gizi, Organisasi Riset Kesehatan BRIN

Penulis bekerja di Pusat Riset Kesehatan Masyarakat & Gizi, Organisasi Riset Ke­sehatan BRIN. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan Sarjana pada bidang Kesehatan Terapan di Universitas Binawan dan Bidang Teknik di Universitas Indonesia serta melanjutkan ke jenjang Magister pada jurusan Ilmu Kesehat­an Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Semarang. Fokus penelitiannya pada bidang geografi kesehatan, epidemiologi spasial, dan kesehatan lingkungan.
