Synopsis

Kebun Raya Bogor telah menginjak usia dua abad. Sejak didirikan pada tahun 1817, Kebun Raya Bogor telah banyak memberikan sumbangsih bagi Indonesia, terutama di bidang ilmu pengetahuan. Selain penelitian dan konservasi, Kebun Raya Bogor juga melakukan kegiatan eksplorasi ke seluruh Indonesia demi menemukan dan menyelamatkan jenis-jenis tumbuhan Nusantara. Buku Eksplorasi Flora: 25 Tahun Menjelajah Rimba Nusantara merupakan sebuah rangkuman perjalanan eksplorasi yang sudah dilakukan para peneliti dan staf dari Kebun Raya Bogor, menyajikan petualangan menjelajahi area belantara ke seluruh Indonesia dan menampilkan pengoleksian berbagai jenis flora khas Indonesia serta usaha konservasinya. Kehadiran buku ini diharapkan dapat membangun semangat dan inspirasi bagi aktivis konservasi di Indonesia untuk terus melestarikan flora di Indonesia.
